Sun 11th Sep 2016 vs. Sibcliffe (A) @ Great & Little Tew C.C.

Match report

IVCC batted first and soon found themselves in the Meier and having to send a Cable(-Alexander) for help; but with the best Will in the world, they soon found themselves 2 for 3. Thankfully they were Rosscued just in Tim by the middle order. A late cameo by the skipper ensured a clean Bill of health for the innings, finishing on 227 for 7. An early finish looked on the Garrds as Sibcliffe's top order had to face some horrible Troths. But after Moon fought the Law (and the Law did not win) and the middle order struggled with the brightness of the Daylight, Pougatch found an Ali in the IVCC ranks and broadcast his way to a half-century. Late wickets for Law Sr and the skipper, plus a comical run out, ensured that IVCC Tewed out their opposition and marched them off a (Sib)cliff(e) to finish the season on played 13, won 6, lost 6.

Notes: Played as 12-a-side IVCC 12th player: M.W.R. Law - did not bat - 7-0-42-0 - 0 catches
